The college has been accredited by NAAC in the year 2004 at “B” level. In the year 2011 the college has been Re-accredited at “B” with CGPA score of 2.24.Now the process is on for the third cycle of Re-accreditation.

IQAC
The IQAC has been established in the year 2007 on the recommendation of NAAC after the first cycle of Assessment & Accreditation The objective of IQAC is to ensure internalizing and enhancing academic quality in the Institution. So it has been arranging and coordinating many curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities in the college. The then principal Prof. S Gopal was the founding convener and Dr. H S Usharani, the then HOD of History was the founding Co-ordinator who held the position till 2012. From 2012 to 2017 Prof. Nataraja, HOD of English was the Co-ordinator. From 2017 to 2021 Prof. Shivalingappa, HOD of Geography was the Co-ordinator of IQAC. At present Smt. Latha S Selection Grade Librarian is the Co-ordinator of IQAC.
